La dentelle de la Reine Anne est la fleur de la carotte sauvage.
Elle doit son nom à la reine Anne d'Angleterre, qui était une experte en dentelle. La légende raconte qu'alors qu'elle travaillait, la reine Anne se piqua avec une aiguille et qu'une goutte de sang tomba de son doigt sur la dentelle, laissant une tache violet foncé. Cette tache sur la dentelle évoque le bourgeon au centre de la fleur qui ressemble à de la dentelle.

Queen Anne's lace is the flower of the wild carrot.
Queen Anne’s lace is said to have been named after Queen Anne of England, who was an expert lace maker. The Legend says that while crafting away, Queen Anne pricked herself with a needle and a single drop of blood fell from her finger onto the lace, leaving the dark purple spot. This spot on the lace came to represent the bud at the “lace-like” center of the flower.
